Supporting International Education Week

Posted on 11th December 2017

UES is proud to support International Education Week in the UK!

As part of a collective effort led by Antony Adams, Careers Adviser and founder of International Education Week in the UK, a nationwide campaign is running from 1st October 2017 through to March 2018 finishing off with a series of events in the UK from Sunday 11th March to Saturday 17th March 2018. The campaign aims to put international education on the map for UK students, helping students, parents, and careers advisers understand the reasons why an international education will make the difference in the 21st century and how students can easily get an international education.

Antony has been on an insightful journey this year. So far he has visited 25 universities outside the UK. His full story can be found on the hashtag #aroundtheworldin80universities

Antony says:

"It is hugely important that students, regardless of their home country, think about internationalising their personal and professional development; studying overseas is a fantastic way to do this. If you are interesting in studying overseas or would like to learn more then you can find me at the following events: Sunday 11th March 2018 at the Birmingham International Education Show and/or Saturday 17th March at the Northern International Education Show. Full details of the events can be found on our eventbrite page here:
You’ll be able to meet me and other universities from all over the world. See you soon!

UES will be at the IE Week events in 2018, and many more international events across Europe.
